This. Blindly letting LLMs drive the unit test definition will lead to lots of useless tests. I’ve burned my fingers with it.

Having a tightly defined spec and handholding LLMs work within that context is the best way forward.

I don’t work on the Workers but let me add @threepointone.bsky.social or @chatsidhartha.bsky.social or @kentonvarda.com to the chat. I’m sure they might know about some magic incantation that could help.

I loved the nature but hated the meditation and yoga sessions. But in retrospect, that experience was worth it. I am grateful for those lessons in equanimity which help me everyday.

Yes, as a kid during summer times. But it wasn’t what you expect in a Hollywood or Hong Kong movie ☺️

I find it surprisingly meditative. Or maybe it’s the hangover from the time I spent in the monastery.

Shower time, cleaning dishes and slow walks are the best time for me to let my mind wander.

I’m really curious about Germ DM, such a cool concept!
I signed up but haven’t received any invite yet. no rush though, I can wait.

I tried opening the Germ DM link from your bio and it doesn’t wor on my iPhone 15 Safari. Bug maybe?

i think migrating away from Vercel hosting is a solid idea. i moved my Next.js blog to Cloudflare (for free) and have been very happy with that

with Next.js 16+ committing to deployment adapters (and Vercel adapter using the same API), we should hold their feet to the fire on the ease of migration

Nice post and interesting to see cool stuff being done on ATProto. I loved your reference to Montaigne. Also @germnetwork.com looks pretty cool, I'll check it out.

I blog semi-regularly and pushed an article this morning.
Nothing spectacular though.

Honestly I'm lost between these various social media factions.
Bsky is nice but dead for tech and 99% stuff is US politics.
X has good non-US discussions+Tech but it is infested with wignats.

indieweb.org/POSSE is the only way forward.

Turkish is such a fascinating language. It has some unique grammatical features that are hard to translate. Agglutination, and evidentially are my favourite

Correction: *No dynamic content

My personal site uses domain from Porkbun and deployed on Cloudflare pages. There’s no static content in it, although it’s very easy to add Workers, Workflow etc if I need. It has withstood Slashdotting so far.

I can’t open your site and see “Safari can’t open the page because too many redirects occurred”.

I’m biased towards Cloudflare Pages, because it easily handles your website being slashdotted (HN’d?).

Thanks for the tip. I have few eink devices, RasPies, Microbit etc at home and wanted to get something that I can hack together with my 10yo daughter.
