It’s heartbreaking, because the labor shortage is real, but it’s also a direct result of the policies many of these same farmers supported. Actions have consequences.

This resonates. Talking about ‘living together’ rings hollow when some communities are literally fighting for their lives. Real coexistence requires justice first.
