I've been saying this for several years now. We need policies in place for the tsunami of workers who'll be replaced by AI. But instead of discussing it, we've been letting the fascists distract us with their racism.

"I think it's to do with AI, and new automation in the workplace"

I'm all for AI and innovation, but countries are not preparing themselves for what AI is going to the workplace

It is an absolutely delightful irony that the richest man in the world is universally acknowledged to be a huge fucking loser who not a single living person envies in any way at all
Remember folks: if you have any small amount of artistic talent, any sex appeal, or can make your friends laugh, the richest man on earth is crying screaming throwing up because he can’t be you.

Our recent analysis shows that heat pumps coupled with electro-thermal storage is the most cost-effective technology.

The counter-fraud and error measures during the pandemic under the Conservative Government were accused of being 'so lax they may as well have left the door wide open'

Shareholder rebellions against executive pay packages doubled.

Makes no difference; votes are advisory, not binding. Too many shareholders have no social conscience - look at water, energy, internet....

Employees and customers have long term interest in companies, let them vote on exec pay.

The upturn in investor rebellions over top brass pay helped drive an 88 per cent rise in the total number of FTSE 100 businesses facing shareholder rebellions this year.

‘What’s going on?’ asks Laura Kuenssberg - suddenly fired up with Labour.
Funny how that energy was missing during 14 years of Tory rule.

So the real question:
Where were you then, Laura?
Your scrutiny felt absent, and Boris Johnson, whom you once called ‘gifted politician’, never got this heat.

Immigrants have helped, improved and enriched this country more than the likes of Farage and Yaxley-Lennon could do in a thousand lifetimes, so it would be quite nice if the government didn’t pander to feeble dickheads like them with rhetoric like this.

Seen a lot of comments about Reform voters not caring what Farage said at school, which is probably true.

But you've also got to consider people who aren't going to vote Reform but you want to turnout or vote tactically against them.

My dad abhors any negative comments about immigrants. Asked him recently why he’s so strong on it: ‘Because we’re always happy to take the rich and clever ones. Which means it’s not about disliking immigrants. It’s about disliking the poor and vulnerable. And that’s a bad human instinct.’
This is so disgusting.
