Got the roof edges on by myself! She's gonna have to help me with the rest. I'm too short and not willing to stand on the fourth ladder rung. But it's almost, almost, almost there!!! Next is to retrieve the propane fireplace table from her parents' house.

This is going to be one of those stories we tell our kids: when I asked for an umbrella for the deck, my partner spent two days and over $1500 on a metal gazebo that I had to build.

To be loved is to be changed. My stinky Ru a couple weeks before we adopted her and now. Less than a year difference.
(The first pic makes me so sad - she basically lived on top of that refrigerator, constantly bullied by another cat.)

Why is the elca worship book so much prettier than ours?

Comparing oneself to Jesus is the ultimate ruler but being compared to Brueggeman is certainly something. 💜
