Does bustin' still make me feel good in the year 2025? Mondo is counting on it with its very impressive, very expensive, set of figures based on The Real Ghostbusters: Peter Venkman and Samhain! Oh, and Slimer too!
One of those shows I only have faint memories of, but it was fun to see most of those memories are actually pretty accurate. I too had no idea there was a toy line, but I was probably watching in ‘88 or ‘89 and it may have been long gone, or I was just too invested in Real Ghostbusters.

Mondo’s new flight stand was a pain to put together (not sure I did it right), but it’s definitely an improvement over the old model.

Wolverine is the best at what he does, but when he doesn't feel like doing that he throws on his favorite pair of pants and trusty brown jacket to hit the local bar scene. Too bad his action figure comes in a PG friendly toy line so the beers are out, but the claws are still in.
Marvel Legends X-Men ’97 Logan
"You got a problem with my look, bub?" I knew who the X-Men were when the show premiered in 1992, but I didn't know much about them. That show really was the proper introduction to the franchise for me and one thing I couldn't wrap my head around as a kid was that these were heroes who didn't really have a secret identity.

NECA is embarking on a new product line for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles based on the 2012 Nickelodeon series. Today, we start our look at this new line with the leader of the group, Leonardo. Is this the latest and greatest from NECA or should these turtles head back to sewer?

Hasbro is back with another wave of Marvel Legends figures based on X-Men '97 perhaps to help tide us over until the show returns in 2026. Up first is this updated look for Jubilee from the end of the first season. She's gone dark, but maybe she doesn't have to?

The self-professed mall babe is back with a new look. The television event of 2024 for me was none other than X-Men '97. I loved that show and I can't wait for the second season to come around. It's just a shame we may still be as much as a year away, but to somewhat tide us over until then we have this third wave of Marvel Legends action figures from Hasbro.

This is all encouraging for those who hate tariffs, but let’s not forget that this same court allowed these tariffs to remain in place before finally hearing the case today. They’re still plenty willing to let this administration run wild and just reel them in only when things get out of hand.

Super7 TMNT Ultimates! Guerrilla Gorilla

It feels like the last few times I've made a Super7 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles post I've wondered if it's my last one so I'm going to stop trying to predict that. This one comes courtesy of Big Bad Toy Store and their generous summer of deals. I wasn't going to pick up this particular action figure because it came at a pretty large MSRP, but when it was slashed nearly 50% I decided to bite so here we are to talk about Guerilla Gorilla.

Happy Halloween! Arriving just in the nick of time is Egon Spengler from Mondo's line of action figures based on the classic cartoon The Real Ghostbusters. These guys don't come cheap, but Peter was pretty damn good and Egon appears to come with more stuff. Hopefully he is just as good or better.

Reinforcements have arrived for both ghosts and Ghostbusters. It's a Halloween miracle! The second figure in the Mondo The Real Ghostbusters line of action figures, Egon Spengler, had been bumped to November. Even when I got my shipping notification from Mondo it said a delivery date of November 1st. It felt almost cruel to receive a Ghostbusters toy the day after Halloween, but that's life in 2025 where government action has thrown a giant wrench into shipments coming from overseas.
