I spent years working in publishing and that is truly what radicalized me against amzn so early. They were so clearly selling at a loss and devaluing books *on purpose* in a way that we never bounced back from. And now? I never link my books to amzn and part of that means my books don’t get bought 🫠
Amazon needs to be entirely destroyed and dismantled actually. It is one of the worst things to happen to not only the entire economy but very specifically (as its original target) the publishing industry and book distribution.

seeing too many posts regarding the boycott from authors panicking about nobody buying their books because they only distribute through amazon. I would love to suggest taking today to ponder the nightmarish reality of allowing the biggest corporation in the world to hold your art hostage.
