Sometimes I get caught up in the chaos tornado that has been my entire existence for so long I forget we have high bush blueberries we can simply. . .harvest this time of year.

Same scarf as 2 months ago. That’s one lesson—I CAN do larger projects. I just have to break them into smaller than typical time and energy burst. Maybe I’ll be done in 2 more months. We’ll see. Another lesson has been starting over and making corrections. I got maybe 1/4 of the way done

Went to Quebec City recently. The aquarium was my favorite part. It wasn’t crowded like The New England Aquarium. It felt therapeutic & I could have spent the whole day in the jellyfish room 🫶🏾

I recommend getting a breath of fresh air if you can. When you can. We made this little walk a scavenger hunt and found most of the things on our list. Moss, leaves, fallen branches, something, something, pinecones.

Knitting is braiding is weaving is puzzling is reverse entropy is a kind of magic is a kind of miracle is a righting of all this chaos in some tiny, healing way 💓🫶🏾

Somedays I work in the office, and some days I work from home. I almost always have some kind of coworker to keep me company. This one gets a little too amped up sometimes and starts biting my typing hands. But the snuggles are top tier 9/10

I like to bake sometimes. Call it rage baking or a form of therapy. A physical place to put my energy into something I can smell and taste and savor. Into something that brings me joy—when I eat it, not when I look at it. And learning how to find joy in these overwhelming times is it for me.
