Trans athletes are rare already and those that actually excel are even rarer

I think the only trans basketball player I remember is the older lady who became the focus of a ton of hate just for playing and playing poorly at that.

The restrictions that were/are in place are a good baseline, personally I think they could use a little tweaking as the science advances but no blanket ban.

A trans woman on hrt will quickly fall into cisgender women ranges within 12-18 months. Those “advantages” are almost completely erased. Bodies are different.

Why shouldn’t trans people be able to participate in sports then? Is that how you want to frame it? Banning trans people from a facet of life is absolutely persecution, what else are you going to ban them from? Accessing needed healthcare? Accurate ID? Cis people need protection from trans people?

George , transgender men compete against other men, as they should. Transgender women compete against other women, as they should. You would think if this was such an issue there might be more than 10 overall competing in NCAA sports. And that’s both trans women and men. Less than 10 out of 500k
