The Prime Minister said in September that we are at a fork in the road. These asylum proposals suggest we have taken the wrong turning.

The idea that recognised refugees need to be deported is wrong.

This is as bad as anything proposed by Reform.

Leaving refugees in permanent limbo and unable to build a new life in the UK would be a complete abdication of our humanitarian responsibilities

Trump’s record is abuse stacked on abuse: sexual abuse, abuse of power, abuse of truth, abuse of justice, abuse of public trust. And the fact he’s trying to erase a survivor’s hard-won justice is a blunt reminder that he’ll always abuse the principle of accountability. #3E #EndImpunity

We can achieve a fairer result if, instead of a multiplier, we apply a "mansion tax" to all the properties in Band H - i.e. a % of property value within the bands.

That has a much reduced impact in those at the bottom of the band and a much higher impact at the top end.

What a great message to the country - if you are rich snd privileged it does not matter how corrupt you are, you will be rewarded. If you hold a sign opposing genocide we will arrest you and you could face up to 14 years in prison. This is an imperative for moral change .
