I have this in Apparance procedural node graphs. Each node output to input dependencies are separately evaluated, so you can have things like this that don't actually form cyclic graphs. You can make them, that will overflow the stack and fail eval, but plenty of valuable use cases too 😁

Annoyingly however, i am also now stuck with the unread message icon on the chat button that i can't remove ☹️
