I read a lot. Classics, horror, fantasy and sci-fi. I write too, because like the old saying, “A writer is a reader moved to emulation.”
Sadly, that line is slightly different in the book. I am only about 25 pages in, but for the most part, the movie seems to have held close to Harris’s original story. The personalities of Starling and Lecter are both coming through strongly in the dialog. (2/2)

The story is similar to Village of the Damned, Island of the Damned, and Children of the Damned. In fact, Stine says they were his inspiration. He said that he wrote this book for the children who read Goosebumps and Fear Street and had now grown up.(2/3)

Fun w/lots of puzzles. However it’s fiction & not to be taken as history.
Tomorrow I should receive another thriller. Like above, this was made into a movie. Also the 2nd book in a series. The main character was inspired by a surgeon who went to prison. Any guesses? (2/2)
