I rolled “rival adventurers” on the encounters table, and used an oracle die to determine that the rival party was losing a battle with the owlbear! The players decided to help the rival party with some contention.

In the Tomb of the Champions, they had their first encounters, fighting skeletons and undead. The clerics had a chance to shine! Turn undead has the possibility to destroy low level creatures in ShadowDark, and made quick work of the first guards. Holy Weapon helped put to rest Craz and Drezna!
