You will find me with a book, a cuppa, and maybe a cat or two.
Are all episodes being released at once? Or are they going to drag it out. I’m going to subscribe but want to wait until I can binge watch my murderbot.

It’s tough and I miss certain things like local events but I decided I had to take steps. I deleted FB and Instagram, canceled prime too. It won’t make a bit of difference to those companies but I feel better about my choices.

That’s one pretty loaf cat! Lightly toasted is the best kind.

I work in a library and it’s amazing how many people fall for the pay with apple gift cards scam. So cyber tips of the day postings might be needed.

You love them until you try to read one and it rubs off on your shirt. Looks pretty though.

I’m reading (listening) to The Spellshop by Sarah Beth Durst. It’s entertaining so far. Just finished Onyx Storm. What a ride. You either love it or you hate it.

I just did this and it felt oddly liberating. I guess I’m on somebody’s watch list now.

It was a fun read. Feisty characters and some romance.

I think he is just a misunderstood good boy.

I’m waiting for this book in Libby. I heard it mentioned in some book blog and thought it sounded fantastic. Sounds like you enjoyed it. No grass to be seen here, just snow.

I heard this book mentioned in an author interview with TJ Klune. An amazing and very kind speaker. Ordered it from the library and also requested they buy a copy.

Kobo has a subscription service. The selection is more limited as authors who sign with kindle unlimited are found only on kindle. Authors say the payment is better for them in Kobo but I haven’t personally tried it. Everand is also a subscription option. Check if your library has Hoopla.

I’m starting the audiobook tomorrow. 23 hours at 1.35 speed. I hope it all comes back to me as it’s been a hot minute since listening to 1 & 2.

This was the first and only King book I ever read. I was flying to Europe and this was the book I brought. Only made it about a 1/4 through. I left it in the seat pocket when I disembarked.

We were told by the rescue that the mom was a boxer and dad was a lab. We never had her DNA tested but she was built like a sherman tank.

When I brought her home as an 8 week pup I was told she would turn on my kids. She was a bundle of unconditional love from day one. Miss you lots Chip Chop. See you at the 🌈bridge.

I enjoyed the historical portions of the book more than the contemporary parts. Her newest book comes out in April. I’m tempted to add it to my TBR.

I was using the BookRiot “read harder” challenge but it was tracking way more data that I wanted. I pared it back to the basics. I have data since 2017. Previously I used a tracker organized by my library system. That data was all lost when they switched to a new system. Still mad about that.

I’ve exported my goodreads library to Storygraph. It’s ok. I don’t love it. I’ve heard about Fable and LibraryThing also. Right now I’m continuing to use both Goodreads and Storygraph and my google reading spreadsheet. Does that make me a book nerd?

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who does this. An empty little free library makes my heart hurt.

Hello from another bookish Michigander.

It was definitely a cozy read. Low stakes and HEA. There’s a new book in that series coming out but after binging on the previous 3, I’m looking elsewhere. Currently reading My Soul To Keep by Opal Reyne. It’s pretty dark and monstery.
