Grateful for everyone's comments in subsequent posts as well as the original post. (Seems like lots of people got access but I did not.)

I don't know, here's a screenshot from the above Morning Joe program. The producer of the ad says that an excerpt they used is "unedited":

But we'd probably let other animals sneak in also? A screenshot I took because it's all just so much fun:

Medicare Advantage Plans are wildly different from each other in coverage and cost, so the concern is that we can't ever make any assumptions. Only careful research nets best results for anyone needing it! They're all for-profit insurance companies looking out for their bottom $.

This Good Trouble Protest is only a few days away, and I don't have our protest posters done yet! Hoping that if I post this, Bluesky will come through with some poster ideas via the algorithms.

I saw at the bottom of your graphic page a reference to genocidewatch.com which I appreciated browsing through. I'll add here a screenshot from their "10 stages" section which seemed relevant after ICE just got funded so bigly

A screenshot from this NYT video, showing just how badly the poorest among us are being hurt by the bill.

The ssa.gov just sent an email that enraged me so much that I blocked the sender. The email address of the sender was "subscription.service@subscriptions.ssa.gov".
The email was totally inappropriate, ssa.gov.

Ugh, the NYT has dozens of links all over in their "Live" section so in case it's hard to find the Carl Hulse blurb, here's a simple screenshot.

Wearing a cute costume helps too!

Thanks for pointing that out. Actually I see that even Open Secrets sells the info about donors if anyone wants the info past the top 500 donors! [I'm a smaller-dollar donor than the top 500 for sure.] Also, I see that their most recent info was around August last year.

Amazing, almost unbelievable, right? But today is Memorial Day. We will not be afraid of wannabe authoritarians; we can't dishonor our forbears' sacrifices for freedom. We will continue to assert our freedom for peaceful protest because it's actually a low, low bar.

God bless these people! They're such an inspiration. I feel like I need to join about 10 protests in the very near future just to get the stench of the passage of the Big Ugly Bill off a section of my world.

This part of the article was especially interesting; here's just a screen shot of a section from the above article:

Unless you have unlimited yard, maybe research first how big they get. Just one native pin oak has now achieved total domination of our smaller back yard after 23 years, we’re not sure it has peaked even now.

Right. And as @maddow.msnbc.com reported last night (4/30), it looks like the Gestapo-like arm of ICE [HSI] will feel empowered to accidentally ruin citizens' lives unless we expose them & protest to get their power reined in. It's the "Homeland Security Investigations" unit, friends:

Yes, all important. I cringed my way through the @nytimes.com "Eight Charts That Sum Up Trump’s First 100 Days" that purposefully neglected to mention that Trump's illegal E.O.s are a main reason why Trump is sued so often! [I'd share the article but it's B.S.] Other shortfalls in article.

Anybody else feeling *really* out of patience?
--ICE doing willynilly illegal;
--DOGE costing money, not saving any money;
--Trump doing stupid things polls confirm are hated by most of us;
--GOP cowering in dark corners;
--INCOMPETENT leaders like Hegseth & Kennedy still in power?

MAYDAY is coming

Such a thrilling set of boss moves, congratulations! And thanks from the bottom of our hearts. Feels like some poet should make art out of this story similar to how the ride of Paul Revere became immortalized!
April 23, 2025 at 1:05 PM
Successful longer-term authoritarians would need to have a tiny grip on their mental health & at least pretend to show some maturity. The GOP sycophants who attempted the scheme to make this work are now waking up.
So yes it is indeed a joyful, blessed Easter.
