On Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honor those in the trans community who have lost their lives due to anti-trans violence. We must remember all of those individuals who are no longer with us, and celebrate our friends in the trans community and remind them that they are loved and always welcome.

I was proud to testify in support of my bill preventing wage theft, S.1300. It is indefensible that we allow businesses and contractors to prey on hard working residents year after year, and it is past time that we pass this bill to hold law breaking employers accountable.
