Cat’s new game is a variation of Pounce, in which she stalks off, pretending she’s uninterested and then races back to pounce. Problem is, sometimes she takes too long and then is sad because you got bored and put the wand away.

I made this! Langoustines and mayonnaise from scratch for the first time. Vacation is for experimenting?
Dinner in Nantes: langoustines and mayonnaise, boulots (cooked by the fishmonger), salmon (for the selective eating 14 year old) and fennel en papillotte, salade of héritage tomatoes and red oak leaf lettuce, gazpacho soup from a carton (it’s the best). Yes, I am living my best life.
