Um no ... they have the Cure, the Mission and other goth bands represented. The last Schecter I got is a total shoegaze machine. Stagazer 6

So much this.... even metal players have textured and clean tones. I made a comment on this for a review for the Robert Smith signature guitar and the review started a huge argument about Schecters are metal guitars.

The RS Guitar with the Bigsby is HEAVY and difficult to play sitting down. I would love then to do a version of his 3 pickup jazz master.

There were definitely bands and musicians in the US doing similar music. We weren't labelled shoegaze music until later when the term became more prominent. And I agree its pretty funny that its everywhere now...
