The thing that got me through my childhood was the phrase "I don't care." As an adult, I thought I would be past that, but I often find that I've internalized it. I find myself not caring about myself, and I don't know what's worse.

I'm not a fan of winter. It's mentally the worst season for me. But I'm here if anyone ever needs to vent. I don't care if it's because you lost a penny. You don't have to be strong all the time. It's okay to cry. It's okay to be mad. Feelings exist. And the worst thing you can do is ignore them.
