Went to Laura Secord house today. Built in the 1800's and commemorating a Canadian hero. JJ was in full history buff mode. It was so hot, we didn't make it to McFarland House, we chose sitting on the museum patio eating Laura Secord ice cream.

Dear Environment Canada, it might be easier for you to just list the region's that don't have a heat warning. 🥵🔥🥵🔥 It's currently 31 C (87°F), feels like 37C (98°F) and so humid, you could swim home.

This is one sad birb. His feet have been sore and so we cut his toenails. It's the first time we've had to, he was always active enough to keep them short. He did so good! But it's understandably upset. I put on Jurassic park 3 for him (he likes the birds) and he's sleeping on me.

Kids have been busy, and are going camping this week, so after work visits are a must! Gotta fill up on spoiling before they go! .

Saturday dinner. Chicken Parm, corn on the cob and garlic pesto rotine. I had an urge to cook today... And needed to eat hearty, because tonight is waterslide decal night and that takes patience and swear words! 🤭😅 Tomorrow is calzones and painting!

One of my favorite summer salads. Tortellini, chicken, any veggies you like, any cheese you like and and salad dressing you like. Tonight is mozzarella and zesty Italian. After a day prepping for the game night tomorrow, this is a treat!

Asshole Birb feel off his cage yesterday (fly/flopped) so we set up his playpen beside me on the couch while he rested. Turns out, he likes it! He shares my dinner and gets snuggles on demand. Plus he's closer to his Sharkies.

Took tomorrow off. It'll be a relaxed day getting the next wave of pops ready to go and icing my hips. I'm a happy woman today. ♥️♥️❣️
