If they had flipped the boat over with sufficient force, it could have conceivably flung drugs into the air which might have been caught by passing birds and then dropped on unsuspecting American children. Do you want terrorist narco-birds bombing children, lib? DO YOU?

Weird how that article spends 6 paragraphs talking about a 2022 report about supposed vetting failures, and a single sentence on a report from June of this year that concluded there were no systemic vetting issues and that the process worked as intended. Almost like they have an agenda to push. 🤔

People who were eligible for SIVs but didn’t have COM approval yet when the withdrawal took place were granted humanitarian parole also; that’s what let them stay in the US while their SIV cases were being processed.

Fair enough, I don’t know exact numbers. I just know that out of 20+ families I know personally, all but two came on SIVs.

I think it’s even worse than that. When they’re re-vetting Afghans who came in 2021, I imagine they’ll be looking for any possible pretext they can use to deny or revoke permanent residency and deport them, where they’ll be in immediate danger from the Taliban.

They didn’t come in through a typical refugee process but they all qualified for resettlement and assistance, which is certainly close enough for the admin to classify them as refugees for the purposes of harassing them.

The vast majority of Afghans who came in 2021 are SIV cases, I believe.

💯Star’s End could have been a fantastic movie. I always thought it should have been adapted as an audio drama too, but I suppose Brian Daley’s untimely death made that unlikely.

One cool thing about the show so far is that it’s wildly unpredictable; once you know the premise, you still won’t have any idea what they’re going to do with it.
