Saint Chad - The Patron Saint of quit being a right-wing dick.

Not to be confused with the other Saint Chad.
Not sure. It's a lot more chaotic than FB, but also less full of nonsense. Obviously AI generated right-wing nonsense posts keep showing up on my newsfeed since Trumpy got elected. On the plus side, I can now use just about any language I wish to berate people who support that nonsense.

Have you figured out what to do yet?

Likely, the US will end up abducting its position as leader of the free world.

Trump has never been anything but an agent for Putin. None of this is a surprise.

We've got four years of this asshat blaming everything on DEI to look forward to. It might be nice if we could get out of reaction mode and begin planning strategies to win the next election.

I'm not sure about the format over here. The content has been much nicer, but the content gets a little difficult to manage when the number of people followed comes up. Not sure if there is a way to guide the feed with preferences in the settings.

Given 20th Century history, probably a wise move.

Poor bastard has the eyes of a man who has lost his soul.

It would have to come by referendum. Democrats and Reoublicans jealously guard the power of their private clubs.
January 30, 2025 at 2:50 AM
I'll believe it when I see it. Democrats have embraced oligarchy just as much as Republicans, albeit, with less fascistic tendencies.

If Democrats want to regain public trust, do something to earn that trust. There is a housing crisis. Build some f**king houses! Stand firm. Hold a position!

Look up the IWW and the Armistice Day Massacre. The reaction of the citizens of Centralia even today show how much more "woke" unions were and are, when compared to the average populace.

I grew up in that town.
January 29, 2025 at 6:22 PM
Unions certainly have been "woke" since their inception. I suppose it depends on how you define woke. If you include the aspects of wokeness that are to do with economics and health care, they still seem woke. Socially, it's a mixed bag.

They should listen to the same voices that kept them in power and raised the US standard of living for half of the 20th Century - labor.
January 29, 2025 at 1:00 AM
The only positive I see is that the world will see what the absence of the US looks like. People continually talk about the "evil empire" but they never acknowledge the positive contributions around the world. More positive or negative? No idea.
January 29, 2025 at 12:41 AM
Who they are running against is immaterial. Trump ended in 2020 with an abysmal 34% approval rating. Democrat Party social positions poll much higher than those held by the Republican Party.....and they lost anyway.

Blaming the situation or others keeps them improving.
January 29, 2025 at 12:33 AM
If Democrats failed to earn votes, it's on them - not on those who did not vote. Blaming everyone else and refusing to listen and be accountable is why Democrats lose. They are an insular private club that only hears what is said internally. If they listened, the might win.
January 28, 2025 at 8:29 PM
Wtf, indeed. Why didn't they talk about this in 2000? Twenty-five years of insular deafness and close elections, often lost, and now they think they've figured it out? Probably not. Once again, they will fail utterly to understand the nation - they only hear insider voices.

They won't take us back.
