Here's some art done from your host for the weekend! I do both traditional and digital art which includes drawings, pixel art and 3d art (when my laptop allows it) !
This is an older piece of pixel art that I did in 2017 of Princess Peach, Princess Daisy and Rosalina from the Super Mario series. I (loosely) based them on some of their original model renders. I originally posted them as separate pieces on my cakeyrin deviantART account. || Artist: yesbutterfly ((&cakeyrin on dA, one of my old aliases) (Image tags, included for clarity for the subject: #supermario #supermariogalaxy #nintendo #fanart #princess #rosalina #peach #daisy #pixelart) This is a digital character reference of my kirbyoc/fc Lumina showing her design from the front, side and back. She is what I class as an alien that may resemble a sheep to some degree. I originally started this piece in 2024 and only completed it this year, although I may update it soon, with a few additional details. || Artist: yesbutterfly (Image tags, included for clarity for the subject: #kirbyoc) This is a piece of fanart of Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy. It is a waist up sketch featuring Rosalina who is smiling warmly at the nearby Luma. This is a traditional sketch which I've added colour to digitally, just to make it look a bit more interesting. For example, I also decided to include a circle for the background behind Rosalina and the Luma, which features a purple-pink gradient to make it look like space; I even added a few sparkles here and there to make it look like stars. I also used the default Star brush from GIMP around the edge of the circle (small in size) in a white opaque overlay, and within the circle itself (which are a bit larger and are of a lighter opaque.) It's actually been quite a while since I drew Rosalina, so I just left this as a basic quick sketch. I was going to base it on her new amiibo figure's artwork, because I absolutely adore her expression in that piece of art (and I really hope that Nintendo releases the image in full) but I thought I'd just keep it simple....since her shoulders and the top bit of her dress was causing me a bit of grief. I still don't think its totally correct, but I'll sort it out (along with a couple of other things I've noticed) when I eventually get around to doing a digital version... || Artist: yesbutterfly (Image tags, included for clarity for the subject: #supermario #supermariogalaxy #nintendo #fanart #rosalina #sketch) This is a preview of a 3d model that I created in 2018 of an enemy from the Super Mario series that we all know: the Goomba. I decided to take a lot of screenshots from different angles to show him off, and I even show his wireframe, along with an eyelid expression.
