Halfway through Lazarus and it still whips. The fourth ep in particular is exquisite! Maybe a lot lesser on the characterization and group dynamics front compared to Watanabe's revered works, but it's still pretty cool.

I was blown away by how good F1 was. Exceptional craft and pure old school charisma that is missing in today's commercial cinema. Joseph Kosinski is a real one!

Heartbreaks are brutal. And, I thought last year was bad for me hahaha.

Everything I hear about Tsurumaki's Gundam feels specifically made to piss me off.
All I can say again is that never give a legacy IP in the hands of fanboys unless they are Imagawa.

I finished Queen of Tears. I am not a K-Drama expert nor have I been able to decode why exactly soap opera writing is so successful at melodrama across different cultures, but damn it works everytime.

Lazarus - best of the season by a mile. Slick action with stakes and just super cool as expected of Watanabe!
Kowloon Generic Romance - Great atmosphere and the manga is dope. I hope the production can keep up.

I got modest, but some cool plans for 2025 as far as anime is concerned. Everything looks Senshi-core from whatever little I have heard about all of these atleast.

Only a few days since the news and one of the core staff members (Yamashita Ikuto) had to already come out and say "stfu about Anno goddamit, this is Tsurumaki's Gundam."
What can I say? Lol. I am staying away from this show like the plague until it's done and dusted and discourse is dead.

I have zero interest in Look Back, but some of the reviews caught my eye. I find it frustrating how many emphasize that it is so special because it achieves so much in a short run time.

How do you make something like Honneamise at the age of 25? Insane, impossible and simply unbelievable. There is a fair amount of fortune too obviously cause bubble era, but it is a feat that nobody in the industry has come even close to replicating it since then in the commercial space.
