Immediately add to your TBR and then put it on the top #booksky. One of the best reads in a while. (As always check Trigger Warnings). This is a modern, set in the future, Greek Mythology but with academia and games and a FMC you can’t stop loving.

On Tyranny by Timothy Snyder has been made very popular in the last couple of months. If you can I HIGHLY recommend that you listen to the extended audio book version. Library cards with access to Libby gets it to you for free. Happy learning!

Morning thoughts.
There’s this calm, calculating rage. Burning inside me. I have never experienced this feeling before. Like I’m numb (And don’t get me wrong) I am still fucking furious. Like I said, it’s strange. It’s strange to see the crazy. The cruelty, normalized. I should feel defeated, and maybe some parts of me do. I should feel like my beliefs, morals, code of life have meant nothing. Like my purpose in life has been spat on and kicked while down. But what if it was all supposed to fail anyway? I mean you can only go up so far. The law of diminishing returns. The culture and country I’ve been woken up to. It was built in slavery, lies, deception, and destruction. There’s a sort of poetic justice that we find ourselves in this time. In this place. There’s an air energy- like you can feel it. I have felt it for a while… the end.
