Question: Finally, do you have a message for FF14 players? Toshiyuki Itahana: Although I designed Sphene, I didn't know the finished story. As such, as a FF14 player myself, I was very excited to see how the story would turn out after the release. I was so engrossed in the story that whenever I ran into Sphene in town, I would always ask her questions in my head like "Are yoy feeling okay today?" and "Are you eating well?" (laugh)

though she gains muscle as they pivoted more into martial disciplines, yuun remains p wiry by shb thru to enw. she doesn't really gain weight till post enw when she's actually taking care of herself properly.
yuun as she appears in late shb, in her default combat gear. same as previous but from a 3/4 view behind.

yuun from arr time period, full length and viewed from behind. their build and figure is rather slender & willowy at this time. yuun in present day ( dawntrail ). viewed at similar angle to the previous example ( behind at a 3/4 angle ). she is shown to have gained a fair bit of muscle, as well scars and a section of her spine where a "window" into her aether seems to be visible.

yuun's initial appearance ( about a decade ago ) was inspired by the artwork of yoshitaka amano for the vampire hunter d series, along with the manga artwork for sailor moon. her coloration was simply white hair w. red eyes then, and was drawn from irisveil of the fate series.
a cover art of the titular character from the vampire hunter d series, done by the artist yoshitaka amano. it is mainly in sepia tones, with D in profile. his hair is long & white, and loose over his shoulders. his armor & the brooch on his traveler's hat are depicted with intricate detailing, including beads in his hair and dangling from his hat. an art of neo-queen serenity from the manga sailor moon by naoko takeuchi. it features a full length illustration of the queen striding forward with scepter raised high above her head, her other hand pulling up the skirt of his gown slightly as she does. her expression looks as though she is in the midst of a declaration. her white hair is done up in her characteristic "odango" style and flows out behind her with the large "winged" bows of her dress.
