Positive news from Malawi!

A girl who was denied abortion care has won her case and the judge has confirmed that young people who are pregnant as a result of sexual violence are entitled to safe abortion care.

A 14 year old girl in Malawi who was denied abortion care took the medical provider to court and WON. The judge confirmed that minors who are pregnant as a result of sexual violence are entitled to safe abortion care “without let or hindrance.”
