💦Freshwater project monitoring update!

Every site had to be visited twice,covering vast off-road terrain in all imaginable weather conditions.
Climate and biological data will be analyzed separately & together to uncover potential connections between invertebrate communities & environmental conditions.

Previously, PhD researcher @girl-in-a-bog.bsky.social had placed soil moisture loggers at 20 carefully selected sites, capturing a full range of soil, aspect, & vegetation types to monitor long-term rainfall & temperature patterns.
