Congratulations to Derek Lubetkin at MaineHealth for receiving the SAEM/GEMA research grant for his project "Understanding Barriers and Opportunities of a Rural Nepal Police-Based Basic Life Support Program," which will pilot hands-only CPR and choking first-aid for frontline responders.

Congrats to Dr. Walid Farooqi at @weillcornell.bsky.social for receiving the SAEM/GEMA research grant for his project, "Analyzing Bystander Intervention for Cardiac Arrest in a Low-Middle Income Country," which aims to understand the impact of a program to improve bystander intervention in Pakistan.
