Thanks to everyone who came and helped out at our Mutual Aid Sew Along in conjunction with the @saclgbtcenter.bsky.social We finished more than 80 cooling scarves, and have dozens more that will be very easy to finish.

Thanksgiving dinner for 60: mashed potatoes, butternut squash risotto, and maple baked lentils, soda and juice, apple and pumpkin pie. We have so much gratitude for being able to share with our community.

We’re having some capital-W Weather this week.
I was out last night, handing out the last of our tarps, a few tents, and half of the storm survival packs that we made at the workshop that the The LGBT Community Center hosted.
This weather is going to wreck tents, soak blankets, and shred tarps.

Hi! We’re Dandelion Seeds, a grassroots mutual aid organization providing direct support to our unhoused neighbors in South Sacramento. We do biweekly free community meals, with survival and hygiene supplies, and harm reduction. We also do emergency severe weather support.
