Buddha's Vegan Restaurant on Dundas west of Kensington Market is a must for food. Big portions at reasonable prices. While I agree with others that Biidaasige Park is worth visiting, you should also check out Tommy Thompson Park and the Leslie Lookout while in the Port Lands area.

Toronto is more equated with Chicago. NYC is in a league of its own.

Couldn't agree more with you both RE Holyday.

I'm a bit confused about how that 80 km number was obtained for that Loop Trail. It ended up being 72 km which Evergreen noted on their website. In any case, I hope the remaining gaps can be filled sooner rather than later.

This is crazy! Given the information you provided in this thread, I hope the City doesn't appeal the OLT ruling and instead use this as an opportunity to pursue an easier way to fill the gap in the East Don Trail.
