This is my Australian version of The Ooze. A real hidden gem, this game offers really unique gameplay with the main protagonist being a blob of ooze that slivers around the game map and punches and spits as a weapon which is really fun, the music fits the gameplay perfectly too. #retrogamer #sega

Probotector for the Mega Drive for me was one of the best side scrolling shoot em ups of its generation and far superior to Super Probotector on the SNES. The graphics, game play with multiple routes and endings and memorable boss fights show the quality that Konami put into their game development.

Mazin Wars, one of the best side scrolling beat ‘em ups on the Mega Drive and in my opinion up there with streets of rage, I’m so happy to have this in my collection!

For those of you of the vegan persuasion or anyone who enjoys the occasional meat free meal the plant based breakfast at the newly opened Yorks Cafe in Birmingham is really good, especially the Korean beans and Parsnip schnitzel. My only gripe was that the fried kale was too crisp.

The annual visit to Birmingham Hippodrome was a success as usual, such great entertainment!
Can’t wait for Robin Hood next year.
