Children, really. "In follow-up posts, Musk suggested that he would leave the Republican Party, accused Trump of involvement with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and backed a call for the president’s impeachment."

Only the best people… the Homeland Secretary can’t keep her codes secure and Hegseth can’t keep his trap shut.

Maya Angelou’s seminal autobiography, “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings,” and books on the Holocaust & KKK were included on the Navy’s list of 381 books yanked from the Naval Academy Library before a visit by alcoholic womanizer blowhard Peter Hegseth. No word when the bonfire begins.

Visited the low-key museum in Reims, France today where the Germans surrendered on May 7, 1945. It preserves the room in Eisenhower's HQ where the docs were signed. I can't imagine the outrage of the people who beat the Nazis if they knew fascists were tearing apart the USA from within today.

Not sure how I missed this, but Pableaux Johnson, a great New Orleans food writer and a great friend to 1000s, died in Jan. At Lonely Planet, we published his first book on NOLA eats, it was superb.

Thousands protested in NYC today for Not My President’s Day. I was glad to be in town while in transit. Loved seeing all the people who care about human decency out on a day when the wind chill was 18F. We have to start somewhere! • Resist

I first landed in Bali in November 1993. Unlike today, the airport wasn’t jammed with flights from around the world, rather you caught one of the few flights from Jakarta each day and entered the isla...

Target is pandering to Trump and his ignorant racist mob by ending its DEI programs AND pulling the plug on stocking products from minority and women-owned firms. Seems Target couldn’t jump on the hate wagon fast enough. Remember this when they go fake rainbow again and claim they’re inclusive.
Target ending DEI initiatives amid Trump's order on diversity programs
Target said on Friday it was ending its diversity, equity and inclusion program along with other equity initiatives, becoming the latest U.S. firm to pull back on these policies, meant to boost racial and ethnic representation at workplaces.
