i can't imagine why congestion has gotten so much worse everywhere. surely it has absolutely nothing to do with the average car on the road being significantly larger than 30 years ago.

Lane removal now. There’s no reason Rainier should be six lanes wide here with 2 foot sidewalks squeezed right up against the car lanes so you have to duck mirrors of passing trucks.
Seattle Fire is currently responding to a driver hitting someone walking at Rainier Ave S and S Charles Street.

My theory is that part of the reason why some people can’t tell an image is AI is that everyone has extra sharpening and motion smoothing settings on their TVs
