Can AI decode an infant's cry? Researchers built an LLM to do just that, and it was able to determine premies from full-term by analyzing acoustic data. This could help determine signs of real health or developmental issues. doi.org/10.1186/s128...

Given all we know about how obesity is linked to so many other health issues - diabetes, heart disease, etc. - It's just bonkers that Medicaid doesn't cover ANY medicine for weight loss, including GLP-1s, based on legislation from 21 years ago. crsreports.congress.gov/product/pdf/...
