How exactly would the East Africa Crude Oil Pipeline tackle energy poverty in Uganda? It is literally designed to take oil *out* of Uganda.

Bet when they programmed this at @duolingoverde.bsky.social it seemed like a bland, even obvious sentiment.

My take is that this is wrong; 5 degrees of warming is not "out of the picture", it's just not likely by 2100. But if we're on track for 2.7 degrees by 2100, worse will be around the corner.
