I’m home alone for 3 weeks, family in England. We’ve had 170mm winter rain this month (average July rain 29mm). I have whooping cough and I’m flooded in, can’t get out of my yard. So pretty peachy 😬

Very low on frost here on the darling downs also. Our first frost was 6 weeks late. It’s been very wet too, 136mm this month of which 70mm fell in 3 hours yesterday

Peter Zeihan the end of the world is just the beginning. For me filled a lot of gaps that you sort know about the world but don’t know how it came about, the US as a superpower, the fiat money system and how geography and demographics matter to the world.

Once you’re in there though it’s very easy to repost before you realise you’re over there not here. And you can’t undo a repost. Another big flaw over there

A bit late for me, the increase in our land value has meant council will increase my rates 114% this year. We are rural in a run down cottage and instead of spending money on the house it goes to council so they can grade our dirt road in two years time and not provide us town water.
