After fifteen years on the faculty at my university, a year ago I was invited to serve as the interim Vice President for Academic Affairs, which has now turned into serving as the Provost. Life has a way of being surprising. I am working every day to make college a meaningful experience for all!

Tonight our church hosted a Friendsgiving dinner. Around the table, LGBTQ+ people dined with straight families with children. Atheists mingled with Christians and spiritual seekers. Laughter was genuine, and there was more than enough for everyone. If you ask me, this is as it should be.
