Up the road after a hard worked 3 points from Rovers today. Definitely feels like they're getting fans back on side and have had a degree of consistency. Roll on Tuesday.

Absolute highlight of the festive season for me: a trip to Stark's Park to see Raith Rovers defeat Livingston, and then out for a curry with the @onnnpodcast.bsky.social crew. Really fortunate to be able to be part of such a terrific group of people!

The last 12 months in Raith Rovers: a thread.

Raith Rovers are 2-0 up against Arbroath, who have so few substitutes they need to put their reserve goalkeeper on as an outfield player. He scores from 40 yards. Arbroath go on to draw 2-2.

Interesting game to discuss. First half left so much to be desired but then Neill Collins was happy enough to change it up even though we'd taken the lead against the run of play.

I'd love to know if we'd start with a back 3 if we have a full squad.

A fun idea to do the cup draw live. Less fun who we got.

A few other points though. For all it's been a 'difficult second session' there's plenty to excite any new prospective boardroom additions.

On the playing side, great to see Kai Montagu get game time...

Interesting to see what the boardroom change at Rovers will entail. Can understand why the two outgoing would step back in favour of fresh blood.

Rovers have every right to be calling out Accies today. Absolutely farcical how things unfolded today. Got to wonder why Accies were so desperate to try to fool people to game was in no danger of falling foul to the weather.

Not a Dumbarton fan but I've seen some cracking games at the Rock involving Raith.
This administration isn't anything their fans could control. They've been left in the lurch. Hopefully fans of other teams will add their support in.
Sons have been a major part of my life basically forever. From a fan going to games with my dad, Granda and Papa, through to DFC being my route into journalism - and ultimately my job. I can't really picture life without the club.

If you can, give us a wee hand.

Dumbarton's situation should get quite a lot of sympathy within Scottish football. Hopefully everything works out there for a fanbase who deserve better.

Not an easy discussion by any means.
We've spoken about how we have Vaughan,Stanton etc out who can be difference makers but it's at a point where Collins needs to start utilising Lewis Gibson far more.
Won the free kick and the penalty for each of our goals on Friday; deserves the opportunity.

Tremendous win for Scotland. Particularly pleasing given how things panned out against Poland at Hampden. Certainly feels like teams will have a handful with us being in the front foot using Doak.
November 18, 2024 at 11:05 PM
No way to sugarcoat that today. You can't play for 45 minutes a game. The first half was as bad as ever been all season. Fight all the way through the second half only to gift them the game at the end.
