Meet our new non-human person and baby extraordinaire Fidel del Corazón ❤️ He is a Bichon Havanais and we already love him so much it hurts. His ancestors came to Havana with Italian sailors or Spanish settlers In the 14th and 15th C. but fled Cuba with posh ladies during the revolution. #dogs

This is an edited photo of a statue of the Egyptian goddess Bast. Showing the goddess as a golden cat, with a silver collar necklace, and a silver nose ring. In a cloud of purple catnip flowers. The statue is made of some kind of glass fiber and probably mass produced in China. I bought it 35 years ago in a New Age shop in Oslo (A long way away from Egypt) and painted it myself. I also grew the catnip.

This river Akerselva, Oslo 🇳🇴, used to be a cesspool of human and industrial waste and the dwelling place of poor people. Then the cesspool moved to China and we got gentrification instead. The river is incredibly beautiful though. Her sacredness restored. #animism #NewAni
