And I kidnapped this semi-feral gremlin from my backyard at the start of the catastrophic ice storm in Texas in 2021. She declines to move back outside.
In the several years she lived partly in my backyard, she killed and brought me two baby rattlers, so she’s entitled to get what she wants.

Kayleigh (left) and her brother Patrick were my parents’ cats, and came to live with me after my parents passed. I adopted Ripley (right) and her brother after Patrick passed and Kayleigh wasn’t adjusting well to being the only cat in the house.
