3) I love standing in the middle of Jacaranda copaia flowers. During one difficult field season in Panama, I paused to rest in a sea of purple flowers illuminated by small a patch of light that was able to filter between the canopy. It felt like a video game save spot. Pics from a diff field season

Hi! I’m slowly migrating to Bluesky but want to introduce myself.

I’m a remote postdoc at NC State. Currently I experimentally assess scientists as communicators in online video media. I’ve also studied seed dispersal by ants & how bee spp richness has changed over time using museum specimens.

I’m Selina, a postdoc at North Carolina State University but based remotely in Ann Arbor, MI. Right now I study the science of science communication conducting experimental assessments of scientists as communicators. In the past I’ve studied seed dispersal by ants and bee spp richness through time.
