Absolum is probably my game of 2025 tbh, I had high hopes for it and it met it in almost every way I can think of.

That's valid, whatever makes your writing pop for you is the best choice imo!

Exposition is always easy until you realize how much space it takes.

This is extremely cool.

I switched to Linux very recently (Mint Cinnamon) and I value the fact that I know everything that is on my PC because it's A. very easy to find out what that is and B. You're doing it yourself. It's so clean and crisp.

This rules, I love the designs here. That Celes is awesome.

Then I can't imagine a situation that Obsidian isn't useful! I think there's a very weird mindset around it being 'your second brain' or whatever, and a thousand youtube videos about you needing eight million plugins to do things, but I have like...6 plugins and it works great for what I need!

I do all of my writing in Obsidian, I think the only thing it's not the best at is like...thesis? But even then I think there's plugins to really help that along.

I have like 20 hours in this game with a friend already. It's so good, there's so many things to do and unlock. Definately one of my top 2025 games by far.

Just the one so far, but trying to work my way into another one. Or maybe start publishing short stories, very unsure.

I grew up in a place where walmart was the only real place to shop, it was a 30 min drive. It is well and truly baffling when people try to sell 'remember when Walmart was good'

It wasn't 'good', it's the only thing in some rural places, thanks to Walmart lol. I go anywhere else now.
