This Sunday, June 29th, the Rush Common Improvement Group (a group of residents living near the park) is organising a litter pick-up along the park’s length. It’ll start at 11 am at the Holmewood Road end.

We know residents near Holmewood Road/Gardens raised strong (and differing) views on the junction with Brixton Hill. At our request, TfL revisited the feedback - and confirmed the no-entry from Brixton Hill into Holmewood Rd will remain as part of the final scheme (see attached)

In Lambeth, we’ve introduced dockless bike/e-scooter bays as dedicated spaces to park. There’s usually one only a few minutes walk from where most people live (16 in our area) which can help keep them out of the way whilst keeping them convenient to use

A permanent intervention across a broader area is needed - tackling any criminal acts and supporting those who are vulnerable or need help. This will not work if it just displaces the problem to neighbouring areas such as St Matthew’s Estate or Rush Common www.lambeth.gov.uk/community-sa...
