A great local event taking place right now - the Yard Sale Pop-Up at Elm Park Tavern!

The improvements around Elm Park were a pledge from us at the last election and Lambeth Council secured TfL funding to make them happen.

A great example of community activity and investment working side by side

This weekend we held a roving surgery on Brockwell Gate, speaking with residents about local issues and recent improvements. People were pleased with the renewed pavements on Tulse Hill and better street cleaning seen over the last few weeks - investment and persistence are paying off

We’re pleased to confirm the pedestrian crossing on Tulse Hill has been repaired today, after being out of action for nearly a month.

We pushed TfL to reinstate it, and worked with Lambeth Council to remove tree coverage from a private property that TfL had flagged as a safety concern

Today we held a roving surgery on Tulse Hill Estate.

It was good to meet residents on their doorsteps, listen to issues from housing and repairs to safety and local services, and talk about how we can help.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to speak with us.

Over the past week we have been out and about on the Roupell Park Estate and the Tulse Hill Estate.

It’s always great to meet residents where they live, hear about local issues and discuss how we can work together to make improvements.

Thanks to everyone who took time to speak with us 🌹

Starting 30 June, there will be pavement improvement works on Tulse Hill between Upper Tulse Hill and Charles Haller Street.

Works are planned for around 4 weeks. Expect some delays and disruption while we make these much-needed upgrades.

Thanks to everyone for your patience and understanding.

We spent Saturday with the fantastic gardening group on St Matthew’s Estate, planting flowers/herbs. It’s a great example of local residents leading the way in making shared spaces greener, more welcoming and better for wellbeing. 🪻🌷🌻🌳

Thanks to everyone who took part and made us feel so welcome!

We’re making Brixton Rush Common Ward greener/more vibrant. 2000+ new trees planted across Lambeth this winter planting season - lots in our area. Help them thrive in hot weather: reuse water from baths or washing up and give your nearest tree a drink 🌳

Our councillors surgery this weekend was around Arodene & Helix Roads. Lots of positive support for new legal powers coming to London allowing the Mayor and Councils to crack down on companies who block roads and pavements with dockless bikes >> www.msn.com/en-gb/cars/n...

Drug dealing/taking & anti-social behaviour has been a problem in St Matthew’s Church Garden and Windrush Square for some time. We support the police doing more to address it. However, dispersal orders are only a temporary tool that comes with challenges about how they are applied and monitored

In November our newsletter covered how pavements on Tulse Hill (Upper Tulse Hill to Charles Haller Street/Brockwell Gate) are due to be repaved.

Good to see this moving forward with temporary restrictions on parking/waiting ready to ensure safe spaces for contractors to work in
