Yup. Can't make HL3 unless it's the definitive technical showcase for smellovision or whatever. Alyx got the permission to exist in order to make the case for Index and now Frame I guess.

OK I see your point, yeah. Still, feels like a ton of wasted opportunity, esp. since another Majima game is unlikely at this point - he's in his 60s already.
(I still liked a lot of things; the finale got my blood pumping, leaning in to live action harder than before was really interesting etc.)

Releasing that after IW, which makes a point of remembering goddamn everything and everyone, really digging in and cherishing Kiryu's character journey, is so damn weird.

The whole amnesia thing was such an infuriating choice, what's the fucking point if it's not *really* Majima for the most of the game. Also, given the location I was sure they would do something, anything, with a certain character from 0 and Kiwami 2's Majima chapter, but nope. Nothing.

I once had some, barely, at a wedding. The problem was that everyone was already absolutely stuffed and the catering staff then rushed in to replace it with a giant chunk of some meat nobody could eat any more either.
