Very low motivation 8.5km for Team #NaughtyNutcrackers in this year’s #RU2C @runup2christmas.bsky.social - I reckon that the Christmas lights coverage is still quite low, probably 5-10%. I expect exponential growth next week.

Top Tip: If you’re going to leave work early to get a run in before it gets too dark - dress inconspicuously so as not to draw attention to yourself! 11km in the bag for the #NaughtyNutcrakers in the #RunUpToChristmas

Brief trip to London for work. Didn’t fancy dodging tourists along the river so opted for the hotel dreadmill just to keep the legs moving. So boring - thought I’d run for hours, turns out it was only 30 mins (& I hadn’t even covered much distance). Up early for a proper run tomorrow #RunningPunks

“Watch out for the old person running there” said the coach of the university running club to his runners as I passed by their training session yesterday evening. What a pr!ck! I put it down to the fact that I was in the 7 min/km recovery stage of my sprints and the 3 min/km stage #RunningPunks

Back in God’s own country of North Yorkshire for a brief visit so got a chance to do some proper trail running early this morning. There was snow, ice, mud and all the other good things. Definitely under-dressed for the conditions but it was such a lovely run. #RunningPunks #Running

Watching a dodgy horror film on prime video (‘The Breach’). I thought ‘wow that chap looks just like Alex Lifeson, the guitarist from Rush’. Just checked the credits and it is! Not only that, but the film is directed by Slash! Rock’n roll royalty #WhoKnew

Blown out of it by Amy’s back-end on this afternoon’s run! The last 10km were straight into strong head winds & driving rain from Storm Amy. At least it meant that there weren’t many people about. #RunningPunks
