The things you see on a university campus that make you feel old.

2000s, vintage? 👴

The things you see when parked in a car park called the "Aircraft Spotter's Car Park"...

A (large) piece of driftwood on Gibraltar beach. No, not *that* Gibraltar, the one just South of Skegness 😁

However, the view in the opposite direction was quite nice!

Experimenting with extension tubes. Not sure what this flower is. It is small (maybe 2cm across) but very pretty close up.

Look how dry it has been recently! This map is from the linked BBC article...

Couldn't resist grabbing the camera to photograph this little guy when he started singing away...

This is what comes to mind when I hear "vim".

Bluebell season is starting. These are the first I've spotted this year.

And that, through thin clouds, is as much of an eclipse as we'll get here.

It is that time of year again. Why can I never resist... 😁 And why does the paving get so dirty over the winter?

Yesterday and today have felt so much warmer than the last, well, weeks really. How much warmer? Well, my @home-assistant.io system has the answer - these temperatures from the sensor in my garden.

"Remember when US politics was like this?"

Nicely done, @channel4.bsky.social.

I love the attention to detail in #MSFlightSim, like the tyre tracks after landing the Joby S4 on a beach.

Another chilly dog walk, but very pretty...

The first time in a while, but have resorted to lighting up.

I think Sammy has killed it. I'll put all the stuffing back in for him to pull put again tomorrow!

#uksnow still falling. Maybe 6/10 now in CV4. And starting to accumulate. Shame the forecast is for rain later to wash it all away ☹️

Just a phone photo, but I couldn't resist the Moon and Venus earlier...

Another reproduction in #MSFlightSim of one of my favourite photos. I couldn't get to the same viewpoint - too many auto-generated trees in the way.

Being able to get out of the aircraft in #MSFS2024 and walk around is a really nice feature...!

This might be my new #MSFlightSim hobby. Flying to places I've taken some of my favourite photos, walking to the exact location and reproducing the photo as much as possible. The beach here looked a little different, and I didn't have my lens ball in the SIM, but I still like the result!

A photo of the Warwick Uni campus taken from a hot air balloon in #MSFlightSim. Although things don't always look so good at ground level, from this height it almost always looks amazing.
