Senior figures, including Aled Rowlands (NESO), Cathryn Tracey (Burges Salmon) and Owen Struthers (Welsh Government Government) all reiterated a common theme: Wales is entering a decisive decade for infrastructure, and success will depend on faster, clearer and more coordinated planning.

Also on the way we looked at some of the transmission lines that connect wind farms to homes in North Wales. As demand for electricity increases in Wales, we will need to upgrade our grid infrastructure across the country in order to unlock the true potential of Wales's renewables.
