Last Thursday I presented my paper "Navigating uncertainty: the impact of moving out on populist attitudes" at PAPERSS seminars at UC3M. 5️⃣ Factors més importants:

🔹 Dreta polaritzada = menys populisme
🔹 Independentistes = més populisme
🔹 Responsabilitat joves = més populisme
🔹 Extravertits, responsables i amables = més populisme
🔹 Ràbia/fàstic (+) vs. Por (-) populisme

El context català és clau!

4️⃣ Factors més importants:

🔹Els més joves (<30) són els menys populistes.
🔹El nivell d'estudis té un efecte protector contra el populisme.
🔹La identificació amb la classe social més alta és associada amb menys populisme.
🔹El gènere no té un efecte significatiu.

3️⃣ Populisme i variables psicosocials:

🔹Joves (<30 anys): Independentisme, polarització afectiva i ideologia (més populisme a l’esquerra).
Només la Responsabilitat es relaciona amb el populisme entre els joves.
🔸Adults: Relació amb ràbia, fàstic i independentisme.

2️⃣ Diferències de gènere en el populisme: Entre els joves (<30 anys), les dones són més propenses a actituds populistes que els homes, amb diferències significatives. A partir dels 30, desapareixen.

Això apunta a un clivatge de gènere entre els més joves! 👥

1️⃣ El populisme augmenta amb l’edat: els més joves mostren valors més baixos, però creix a partir dels 19 anys i es manté estable fins als 65 on és el més alt. La relació no és perfectament lineal, però sí clara.
