@kenwhite.bsky.social isn’t repeatedly switching between mutually exclusive stories traditionally considered prima facie evidence of knowing guilt?

Asking for everyone’s favorite gang of maritime war criminals.
Last week: In response to WaPo’s story on the Sept. 2 boat strikes, the Pentagon says “This entire narrative is completely false.”

Today: The White House confirms that a 2nd strike happened and that “Secretary Hegseth authorized Admiral Bradley to conduct these kinetic strikes”

Every year since 1988, the United States has recognized World AIDS Day — until now.

Why not? Maybe because the Trump administration doesn’t want to acknowledge that its foreign aid cuts led to nearly 150,000 deaths from AIDS, according to Boston University researchers.

Shameful.

Not only a local company that didn't even get considered, the Oonnee team did standard-setting on the ground outreach with cyclists, including deliveristas, and advocates in developing its product.

I hope there is a way for the new mayor to put his finger on the scale.
Today was the hardest day of my life. We fought for nearly a decade to bring secure bike parking to NYC and ultimately were completely excluded from the @nyc-dot.bsky.social process for citywide system. To those who believed in us and our vision, I am so sorry.

The Twitter account for the Turning Point USA chapter at OU seems to have only started posting last week with an anti-trans pressure campaign. And then, oh gosh, what are the odds that they just happened to immediately find someone who claims to have been discriminated against by a trans person?

On World AIDS day, I'm grateful to all the elders, living and dead, who showed us how to loudly, proudly, mournfully, even joyfully Act Up! for our rights and for our lives, in the face of a state determined to let us suffer and die.

Let's unleash our power, for each other and our communities.

I still remember the first time I saw “silence = death” spray painted with a pink triangle on the ground in Boston Common. As a suburban young teen, I didn’t know what it was, but I knew it was important. We all owe them a debt.

For sixty years we've tried figuring out new ways to encourage the market to figure out the 'correct' amount of healthcare. It doesn't seem to work — though somehow large healthcare corporations and insurers have never been more profitable.

Also, my website will be going offline when my hosting expires at the end of the year. It will remain offline indefinitely until I rebuild something simple. GenAI theft has destroyed something else.

If a man personally implicated in war crimes can remain atop the Pentagon, why would he stand by and risk his freedom should Vance (or Trump again) lose the 2028 election?

And unless Bradley sees the inside of a brig, the message to USSOCOM's chain of command is that no action is impermissible.

Ex-official explained this in a way that will stick with me forever: Within fire departments, the EMTs are overworked and underpaid and don’t have time to advocate for policy. The fire chiefs, on the other hand, have a lot more time on their hands. So fire response, not medical, dictates policy.

Both were later sentenced to life in prison!
